Bermuda 450 sq ft pallet, $500 installed
(not my personal favorite, invasive and allergen generator)
St. Augustine 550 sq ft pallet, $600 installed
(can not grow in full sun needs part shade and adequate hydration to get established)
Zoysia Palisade or Zion, $700 installed
(this is my favorite, low maintenance, hearty, disease and pest resistant, low watering requirements, can tolerate shade and sun, the dense carpet of the Zoysia is naturally weed resistant, solid investment for home owner looking for refined results with pease of mind for maintenance, needs to be mowed half as much as Bermuda)
each pallet is recommended to be installed with 1 cubic yard of 50/50 enriched top soil. $100/yd with sod installation.
Sod carries a 1 year warranty as well if irrigation systems are present and watering scheduled according to professional advice.
