Nearly unbound by mans imagination this ancient liquid rock dating back to 6500 BCE had its modern marvel in 1824 by Joseph Aspdin who developed our modern cement by burning ground limestone and clay together which has revolutionized our entire world today! It’s my job to blend the decorative side with the structural integrity of cement into a lasting piece of art. From driveways, walkways, foundations, retaining walls, we pour it all It’s just up to your imagination. We do stamps, stains, and different types of finishes.
Masonry
The world of masonry is unbound by the constraints of imagination allowing for endless possibilities that can even be complemented with accents of decorative cement work. Although costly compared to concrete, it is a very rewarding investment that will lasts decades and maintain its natural stone charm compared to fading concrete colors.
Xeriscaping
An unfamiliar concept for many but quickly evolving in popularity in North Texas. Xeriscaping is the use of plants with low watering requirements. This is perfect for the home owner seeking to enjoy landscaping with out the financial up keep every year of mulch or seasonally rotating flowers. Initial development may be costly due to use of natural stone but saves thousands in the long run on mulch, water and labor.
Bed Development
This covers a broad spectrum of work from complete rip out, re design, installation of shrubs, trees, flowers, seasonal colors, landscape fabric, mulching, soil amending, masonry borders, decorative concrete curbs, etc.
Sod Installlation
Sod installation has a variety of approaches depending on soil conditions, fertility, sunlight, and irrigation. Each job site is given an dose of rooting hormone and fish emulsion to ensure successful acclimation and establishment. All lawns are graded with top soil and sod is rolled with water barrel.
We sell 3 main species of sod:
Bermuda 450 sq ft pallet, $500 installed
(not my personal favorite, invasive and allergen generator)
St. Augustine 550 sq ft pallet, $600 installed
(can not grow in full sun needs part shade and adequate hydration to get established)
Zoysia Palisade or Zion, $700 installed
(this is my favorite, low maintenance, hearty, disease and pest resistant, low watering requirements, can tolerate shade and sun, the dense carpet of the Zoysia is naturally weed resistant, solid investment for home owner looking for refined results with pease of mind for maintenance, needs to be mowed half as much as Bermuda)
each pallet is recommended to be installed with 1 cubic yard of 50/50 enriched top soil. $100/yd with sod installation.
Sod carries a 1 year warranty as well if irrigation systems are present and watering scheduled according to professional advice.
